Bugs and Beads 2nd Anniversary - 24Apr2020

Exactly two years ago, I had the first official exhibition of my jewellery! It all started with my English classmates when I had my first Sales. I have always been "obsessed" with insects, due to my career as an Entomologist. Because of that, I collected several handcrafts inspired by them. Due to my great appreciation for crafts, I then started making my own jewelry inspired by insects and fungi. In the beginning, it was just a hobby, today it has become a small bussiness, in which I create jewellery and also promote the artwork of other artists who make insects and fungi in jewelry and other objects. ================== Exatamente há dois anos, tive minha primeira exposição oficial das minhas joias! Tudo começou com meus colegas do curso de inglês, quando tive minhas primeiras vendas. Sempre fui "obcecada" por insetos, devido a minha carreira como Entomologista. Por causa disso colecionei diversos artesanatos inspirados neles. Devido ao meu grande apreço por trabalhos manuais, comecei então a confeccionar minhas próprias jóias de insetos e fungos. No começo foi apenas um hobbie, hoje se tornou uma ideia de negócio, no qual crio e também promovo o trabalho de outros artistas que confeccionam insetos e fungos em joias e outros objetos. . Trabalhar com joias e bijuterias que contemplam minha profissão de Entomóloga, está sendo hoje uma grande realização pra mim!
