WHAT IS LIFE? WHAT IS DEATH?

I am very proud of my valuable collection of original paintings of fungi and insects! The artwork made by the French artist Stephanie Kilgast @petitplat is a series of beetles that turn into mushrooms named “What is Life? What is Death?” No. 1, 3 and 7. The beetle will die, but the fungi will be there to continue life! I framed them so they would always be in my eyes and well protected. I even ordered a shirt (with the artist's permission) to complete the collection! Doesn’t it look great? In addition to liking and having projects with beetle-fungus interaction, I have the privilege of having the artwork of Stephanie Kilgast with me! Makes any entomologist/mycologist proud, doesn’t it?

O besouro morre, mas os fungos estão ali para continuar a vida!

Emoldurei para que ficassem sempre aos meus olhos e não estragassem. Ainda fiz uma camisa (com a permissão da artista) pra completar a coleção! Não ficou linda?

Além de gostar e trabalhar com interação besouro-fungo, tenho o privilégio de ter a arte de Stephanie Kilgast junto comigo!
